At long last, Machine Gun Kelly’s highly-anticipated “first-of-its-kind” musical adaptation of Tickets To My Downfall has been released.
The 50-minute-long movie, entitled Downfalls High, was premiered on January 15 at 6pm PST / 9pm EST via Facebook, and can now be watched in full. Narrated by Machine Gun Kelly and collaborator/blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, the film was created with the help of MOD SUN, and features cameos by Tickets To My Downfall album guest stars Trippie Redd, blackbear and Iann Dior, as well as main actors Chase Hudson and Sydney Sweeney bringing the story to life.
“It was almost like shooting 14 music videos back-to-back, but with a narrative that’s outside of my personal life stories,” MGK previously revealed, adding that it was shot in just four days. “It focuses on other characters, and then me and [Travis] are just the narrators. It’s an interesting concept because it hasn’t been done for an album ever, maybe outside of like Pink Floyd’s The Wall.”
