Sacramento, California singer/songwriter MVSSIE released her newest single titled “Monsters Under My Bed” to all digital outlets. The single was produced by Kevin “Thrasher” Gruft (Escape the Fate). “Two words: real. life. Life is messy and beautiful but there aren’t enough artists talking about it. Massie creates music to connect people through real life experiences. She opens a dialogue about the things no one wants to talk about: struggle, heartbreak, anxiety, pressure, self confidence, worth, and even love, excitement, well-being, comfort, and recovery. Music has always been therapy for Massie, through her darkest hours and her most incredible life experiences. Massie hopes to make people FEEL something by capturing those real life emotions and experiences in her music” says Mvssie. She continues, “I think we have all been in a place where we don’t want to face reality. We don’t want to make a decision because we are afraid of what the consequences might be. I wanted to capture that anxiety in a simple and raw way anyone could relate to. How I pictured that anxiety was being a little kid, scared of monsters under my bed because who hasn’t had that overwhelming fear. Unless you’re a fucking psychopath.” Mvssie is a singer/ songwriter from […]

The Sweet Meats Slaughterhouse was founded in 1895 by Wilhelm Schröder. Internationally known for his advances in industrialized butchery…he produced 30% of the meats consumed in the United States. In 1915 tragedy struck the small town he called home when all the livestock took some unexplained fatal disease. The ever resourceful Schröder turned to the only available meat. The townsfolk. When they discovered the terrible truth – they enacted their own form of justice. Feeding the once prolific Schröder to his own machines. The Sweet Meats Slaughterhouse remained eerily quiet and vacant..until one night…horrible noises resembling music emanated from the dank hallways. Why did you pick your band name? Z.Wager: That is definitely the 10,000 dollar question. Having a name like Dead Animal Assembly Plant – I’ve found people either love it or hate it. It does feel like a disjointed jumble of nonsense. Yet the origin story is actually pretty mundane. A number of years ago I was casually looking at a website relating to business licenses and I came across one that I found extremely bizarre. In the state of Oregon in order to transport or store animal carcasses you have to get what’s called a […]

Ben Anderson of Nothing More talks Burning Witch hot sauce and more So what have you been doing with all this time off?? I can tell you what Ben Anderson of Nothing More has been doing, that’s right, perfecting his very own hot sauce. Burning Witch is the brain child of drummer Ben Anderson of Nothing More, and let me tell you there is a burn. It is a good burn though, not too hot and it comes with some smoky and garlicy flavor tones. I will tell you it is great on everything from tacos to fish but I will tell you my favorite is on almost all breakfast foods. How about instead of me rambling on about it, why don’t you listen to the man that made it. http://rockrevoltmagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Ben-Aderson-Edit-1.mp3 Where can you get Burning Witch Hot Sauce you ask https://store.nothingmore.net/collections/burning-witch-hot-sauce Not only can you find Burning Witch, you can find all Nothing More related items on their webstore So you think Ben has just been making hot sauce, or hey what have Mark, Daniel and Jonny been up to during the pandemic, if only there were a way to find out. Guess what there is. […]
Everyone is addicted to excitement. That feeling you get when meeting someone new or experiencing something for the first time is the closest to a pure high most of us will ever enjoy. You can spend your whole life chasing it – despite knowing it’s fleeting. Keeping Rock N’ Roll alive with a steady stream of upbeat and fun songs, Moon Fever continues to demand an audience with their new release “Cheap Thrills.” The single is now available worldwide. Check out the video below The driving stomper of a song touches on a wide array of events, moments, and things that can give you that temporary high, and in doing so, provides a perfect soundtrack for your next adventure. The accompanying animated video uses a backdrop of the Sunset Strip and other Hollywood landmarks from their adopted home of Los Angeles to get their point across. Speaking to the single, Moon Fever guitarist Mitch Micoley says, “Cheap Thrills’ is a song about the kind of thrills that happen and then are gone in a flash, leaving you wanting some more. It’s open to interpretation – the thrill of a certain person you meet, a drug, your favorite libation, a comfort food – or […]

Moon Fever’s tale of bad love sends them to the ‘Undertaker’ Everyone talks about longing to find true love, but anyone who has tried their hand at romance will tell you there is a lot of trouble found in the ties that bind two people together. Just ask Moon Fever, the fast-rising rock band that has a new single detailing that exact experience. “Undertaker” is a groove-heavy rock anthem for anyone that has found themselves ensnared in a bad romance. The story told in this song is about the signs of toxicity that we often ignore until we’re in far too deep to escape easily. Moon Fever depicts the kind of love that makes you feel crazy for wanting to leave, even though it’s exactly what you need to do. The animated video for “Undertaker” makes light of an otherwise serious subject matter in a manner that aligns with Moon Fever’s branding and aesthetics. There’s also a little voodoo thrown in for good measure. A live version of the song has just been posted as well. Or listen to “Undertaker” here http://rockrevoltmagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Moon-Fever-Undertaker-Radio-Edit.mp3 Lead Singer Cody Jasper says, “Undertaker’ is a song that came out of a chord structure I had been using for a couple of years […]
