S.A.M. (Savage After Midnight) raises the bar with new track “So Low”

Nashville & Memphis, TN based rockers S.A.M (aka Savage After Midnight) are raising the bar with just released new track “So Low” as their biggest debut yet.  The song has already been added to Spotify Rock Hard, New Metal Tracks, New Noise, New Blood and Loudwire Weekly Wire playlists; Apple Music Breaking Hard Rock and New In Rock; Amazon Music Breakthrough Rock & Fresh Rock; Pandora New Rock Now, New Rock Radio, and This Year In Rock Radio; LiveXLive New Rock Now & New Metal Now, and more. The track has more than 160,000 cumulative streams in its first 2 weeks of release.   The band’s Shi Eubank says “So Low’ was so much fun to create. I did it with Producers Andrew Baylis and Jayden Panesso for the band Sylar. I told them I wanted to have a good blend of heavy and sing-along, so we did just that. The song is about the struggle of wanting to stay with someone that always puts you second. My favorite lyrics are in the pre-chorus “Holding on to nothing like it’s something I can’t live without”. I think everyone has felt that at some point in their lives. I hope it hits home”.   Co-Producer Jayden Panesso adds: “I’m very excited to finally have this track released. It’s […]

Pill overdose. It was a devastating time. She was only 27. Morgan Rose and I wrote and recorded the EP, No Amends that was a dedication to my love” says Leonard Cerzosie Jr. He continues, “Over the years, I’ve had my hand in multiple projects. I formed “Le Projet” around 2013 that featured members of Candlebox, Sevendust, and The Infinite Staircase. I also joined the Baltimore band “The Mayan Factor” a few years ago and have toured with them in Mexico City and the states. During all this, my mother was diagnosed […]

Interview: Kyle Bolduc of Lydia Can’t Breathe

Hard rock metal quartet LYDIA CAN’T BREATHE released their brand new single titled “SHEEP” to all digital outlets. The single is a fresh take on the band’s trademark sound with melodic guitars and dark tendencies. It showcases their ear candy intros, face melting guitar riffs, while still clinging to their heavy transitions and breakdowns. “Sheep is an energetic guitar driven heavy piece with catchy clean vocal choruses. The verses are harder spoken parts with a heavy breakdown. The contrasting parts show the different styles and variation of the band’s sound. The song follows the theme of thinking on your own and being yourself regardless of how society tries to shape you” says the band. Singer Kyle Bolduc spoke with us about the new single “Sheep”, what he has been up to during the pandemic and what is in store for the band.  Give a listen below. http://rockrevoltmagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/Lydia-Cant-Breath-Edit.mp3 Check out the video for their latest single “Sheep”         Connect with Lydia Can’t Breathe (click icons):

Sacramento, California singer/songwriter MVSSIE released her newest single titled “Monsters Under My Bed” to all digital outlets. The single was produced by Kevin “Thrasher” Gruft (Escape the Fate). “Two words: real. life. Life is messy and beautiful but there aren’t enough artists talking about it. Massie creates music to connect people through real life experiences. She opens a dialogue about the things no one wants to talk about: struggle, heartbreak, anxiety, pressure, self confidence, worth, and even love, excitement, well-being, comfort, and recovery. Music has always been therapy for Massie, through her darkest hours and her most incredible life experiences. Massie hopes to make people FEEL something by capturing those real life emotions and experiences in her music” says Mvssie. She continues, “I think we have all been in a place where we don’t want to face reality. We don’t want to make a decision because we are afraid of what the consequences might be. I wanted to capture that anxiety in a simple and raw way anyone could relate to. How I pictured that anxiety was being a little kid, scared of monsters under my bed because who hasn’t had that overwhelming fear. Unless you’re a fucking psychopath.” Mvssie is a singer/ songwriter from […]

Interview: Dead Animal Assembly Plant

The Sweet Meats Slaughterhouse was founded in 1895 by Wilhelm Schröder. Internationally known for his advances in industrialized butchery…he produced 30% of the meats consumed in the United States. In 1915 tragedy struck the small town he called home when all the livestock took some unexplained fatal disease. The ever resourceful Schröder turned to the only available meat. The townsfolk. When they discovered the terrible truth – they enacted their own form of justice. Feeding the once prolific Schröder to his own machines. The Sweet Meats Slaughterhouse remained eerily quiet and vacant..until one night…horrible noises resembling music emanated from the dank hallways.     Why did you pick your band name? Z.Wager: That is definitely the 10,000 dollar question. Having a name like Dead Animal Assembly Plant – I’ve found people either love it or hate it. It does feel like a disjointed jumble of nonsense. Yet the origin story is actually pretty mundane. A number of years ago I was casually looking at a website relating to business licenses and I came across one that I found extremely bizarre. In the state of Oregon in order to transport or store animal carcasses you have to get what’s called a […]

Interview: Ben Anderson of Nothing More

Ben Anderson of Nothing More talks Burning Witch hot sauce and more  So what have you been doing with all this time off??  I can tell you what Ben Anderson of Nothing More has been doing, that’s right, perfecting his very own hot sauce.  Burning Witch is the brain child of drummer Ben Anderson of Nothing More, and let me tell you there is a burn.  It is a good burn though, not too hot and it comes with some smoky and garlicy flavor tones.  I will tell you it is great on everything from tacos to fish but I will tell you my favorite is on almost all breakfast foods.  How about instead of me rambling on about it, why don’t you listen to the man that made it.   http://rockrevoltmagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Ben-Aderson-Edit-1.mp3   Where can you get Burning Witch Hot Sauce you ask https://store.nothingmore.net/collections/burning-witch-hot-sauce  Not only can you find Burning Witch, you can find all Nothing More related items on their webstore   So you think Ben has just been making hot sauce, or hey what have Mark, Daniel and Jonny been up to during the pandemic, if only there were a way to find out.  Guess what there is.  […]
